LED Lighting Labeling
As the LED lighting industry continues to grow, so do labeling applications vital to the manufacture, packaging and retail offering of LED lights and lighting.
The Lighting Facts label, coming from the LED Lighting Facts® program of the U.S. Department of Energy, is most commonly used. Manufacturers use the label for documenting the performance of products they promote, select, or use in their initiatives aimed to
promote their products.
UL labels are also commonly used. UL labels contain the UL-required warnings to aid consumers. And Watts to Lumens labels are also growing in use, now that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires this label of conversion on all light bulb packaging.
