Fabrico Provides Packaging and Labels That Include OSHA's Hazard Info and Pictograms
Kennesaw, GA – Fabrico, the leader in design and manufacturing services for flexible materials and advanced assembly, provides packaging and label printing of OSHA’s Hazardous Communication Standard (HCS), which requires manufacturers of products that contain potentially harmful chemicals to apply hazard information and pictograms on their packaging and labels.
According to OSHA, the HCS communication tools depict the recommended measures that should be taken to minimize or prevent the adverse effects caused by exposure to hazardous products. Fabrico can help manufacturers to compile the required information and design the labels and packaging using an existing layout or developing completely new artwork.
Fabrico can select the right label or packaging materials for the application, such as those with outstanding resistance to chemicals and durability thanks to a tough polyester-based topcoat. HCS pictograms and hazard information, along with product branding, can be printed on virtually any material using Fabrico’s multi-color, high-volume presses. Once printed, different labeling application processes are available, including poly roll-fed and cut-and-stack, depending upon the customer requirement or product shape and size.
In addition, Fabrico provides printing capabilities for industrial, specialty, UL, and bar code labels, using a wide range of other materials, including laminates, foams, and custom pressure-sensitive labels. Fabrico can also provide custom printing for membrane switches and metal or polyester nameplates.
