EIS ANNOUNCES DIVESTITURE OF TEKRA AND TRIENT
Atlanta, Georgia, February 18, 2020
EIS announced today the divestiture of Tekra and Trient, specialty fabrication and coating divisions of EIS, to SWM, a leading global performance materials company. The transaction is expected to close in early March. Tekra and Trient operate out of facilities in New Berlin and Woodville, Wisconsin, respectively. Tekra was founded in 1938, Trient founded in 1996, and both have been a part of EIS since 2013. EIS thanks the management team and the entire organizations of Tekra and Trient for the hard work and dedication over the past seven years.
EIS, through its Fabrico division, will continue to operate market leading conversion and fabrication facilities located in Kennesaw (GA), Rochester (NY), Tempe (AZ), and Monterrey (Mexico), primarily servicing the electrical, electronic, and alternative energy markets, among other highly engineered applications.
