Transfer

Adhesive Transfer Tapes are rolls of pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to adhere to many different substrates. For application, the tape is simply pressed, adhesive side down, to a surface and the liner is peeled off.

Adhesive transfer tapes are good for adhering, joining, affixing, bonding, mounting, holding, laminating, and splicing. They are available for applications that include laminating high performance materials and difficult to bond surfaces or substrates.  Transfer tapes offer both low tack and high tack and shear strength versions. Many of them provide excellent temperature and solvent resistance, excellent adhesion to foams and foils. They can be used for joining materials that have a wide range of surface textures.

    • Adheres to "Hard to Stick to" surfaces and high surface energy materials
    • Provides shear and peel strengths equal or greater than thicker tapes, achieving better bonds for thinner, lighter weight OEM designed products of today and the future
    • Low-odor adhesive
    • Great resistance to high heat, humidity, solvents and harsh environments
    • Great for a low profile bond line
  • 3M 3698E

    • Designed to be dimensionally-stable and can withstand more than five years of outdoor exposure, including ultraviolet light, temperature extremes and solvents.
    • Their thin caliper and flexibility allow for conformance to small diameter and complex curved surfaces.
    • The liner is designed for rotary, roll to roll applications. The backside of this liner is not printable.
    • UL Recognized (File MH11410) and CSA Accepted (File 099316). See UL and CSA files for additional details.
  • 3M 463

    • 2 mil adhesive transfer tape with high liner release to accommodate automatic dispensing. Fibered adhesive transfer tape.
    • core starting, splicing, bonding, mounting, attaching, holding, affixing, joining, and laminating. Paper to paper applications. Splicing of foils, films and fabrics.
    • High tack, excellent adhesion to most paper stocks. Good low temperature performance and peel strength on many surfaces
  • 3M 465XL

    • 3M™ Extended Liner Tapes 465XL, 920XL and 9925XL are ideal for adhesion to paper materials but also work well on many other surfaces.
    • The extended liner provides a dry edge on each side of the tape for easy liner removal. Stated product widths include the dry edge of the liner.
    • 3M™Extended Liner Tapes 465XL is ideal for pharmaceutical outsert attachment and is .002 in. thick for surface which requires more adhesive mass.
  • 3M 467MP

    • 2 mil adhesive transfer tape with acrylic adhesive on a polycoated kraft paper liner. Excellent shear strength, temperature resistance and chemical resistance.
    • Excellent moisture and solvent resistance. Excellent high temperature resistance and shear strength. UV resistant. Easy to apply. Not messy. Easily die-cutable.
    • Ideal for graphic and nameplate attachment. Easy to die-cut and process.
  • 3M 467MPF

    • Humidity Resistance – High humidity has a minimal effect on adhesive performance.
    • UV Resistance – When properly applied, nameplates and decorative trim parts are not adversely affected by outdoor exposure.
    • Water Resistance – Immersion in water has no appreciable effect on the bond strength. After 100 hours at room temperature, the high bond strength is maintained.
  • 3M 468MP

    • 5 mil adhesive transfer tape with acrylic adhesive on a polycoated kraft paper liner. Excellent shear strength, temperature resistance and chemical resistance.
    • Excellent moisture and solvent resistance. Excellent high temperature resistance and shear strength. UV resistant. Easy to apply. Not messy. Easily die-cutable.
    • Ideal for graphic and nameplate attachment. Easy to die-cut and process.
  • 3M 468MPF

    • This adhesive provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics.
    • It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold cycles.
  • 3M 6035PC

    • The adhesive is protected by a silicone treated paper liner and has a firm rigid open cell urethane that offers excellent cushioning characteristics while allowing air or gas vapor
    • 3M™ polyurethane foam tapes series are black in color, semi-rigid polyurethane foam with pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side.
    • The acrylic adhesive offers high initial quick stick to many types of surfaces along with excellent shear strength and high temperature performance.
